A Place to Begin Again... A Place to Belong.

The Highest Privilege:

A teacher of the law once asked Jesus a very important question:

"Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: '...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:28-31)

To Love God with All Your Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength Means:

To Love Your Neighbor as Yourself Means:

  • To tell everyone of Jesus' great love for them, so they too can be saved. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • To meet together in fellowship often for worship and upbuilding in the faith; to use our spiritual gifts and resources to serve one another and everyone in love. (Hebrews 10:24-25; Ephesians 4:4-16)

Love Is:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)
