Opportunity for Study: A love offering was taken for Matt McPherson who shared about an upcoming opportunity he has to study in Brazil for a semester with MVNU students. This is part of his education towards his degree in Missions. This offering will help him in funding his airfare ($1300) and books, which are over and above his cost of tuition. Thank you for your generous giving! $416 has come in!
Champion Freedom Riders: Calling all motorcycle enthusiasts! We will be leaving from the church on Sunday, September 5 and 19 at 12:30p for lunch at a restaurant and then go for a nice ride until around 5:00p.
3rd Annual Motorcycle Prayer Run: This event is to benefit the Ohio Valley Teen Challenge Crisis and Referral Center of Trumbull County. The date is this Saturday, Sept. 11 with registration from 8:00-9:00a at the Grace Fellowship Church (Kohl’s/Kmart Plaza). The cost is on a donation basis. Don’t have a bike? Come in a car! Lunch following the ride. Fellowship, t-shirts, Chinese auction.

Church Fuel Update: We would like to thank all of you for working with us in our efforts to bring our heating costs down this year. Praise the Lord we are making great strides! Please look at our savings figures that Jack Besse has provided for our October through June usage.

Fall Fest at Canaan Acres: Canaan Acres is hosting a Fall Fest on Saturday, Sept. 25. Planned activities include a classic car show, antique tractors, apple butter canning, hayrides and more. Volunteers are needed to peel and cut apples on Friday, Sept. 24. 10 dz. new pint-canning jars with lids are needed for the apple butter. Please contact the camp office to volunteer your time or to donate jars. (330) 875-1660.
